Chicks in Town!

Our team of knitters are having a productive spring.....
These chicks have been set free in Bristol and, after what looks like a lovely day out, they were hidden around College Green to put a spring smile upon unexpecting passers by!

Knitiffi has joined forces with The Pom Pom Project.
The project is run by Natalie Jones a design student from Edinburgh, with a few months to go before graduating, she launched a world-wide campaign to spread joy and happiness in the form of knitted pom-pom's! Sending out 1000 pom pom packs around the world.

We received some packs and made our Bristol contribution, it was great fun to do...check out the link to see the rest of the project!

The Knitted Caravan!

The Knitted Caravan is finished!! Knitiffi wrapped an Airstream Camper caravan in wooly loveliness at the Expressions 2010 arts event 5th-9th October 2010, a part of Aspects and Milestones Trust.

The caravan is also the office of the Paintworks event space, based in the main courtyard. The owners continued with their week of work, snug inside their new colourful and cosy knitted surroundings!

A huge team of knitters, crocheters, and pom pom makers have been involved in our most ambitious 'Yarn Bomb' to date- a big thank you to everyone who took part and donated their time, skills, wool, sweat and tears!!
